New name, visual identity, and website position Ann Arbor preclinical CRO for its next phase of scientific growth
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (September 15, 2026) — TSRL, Inc., a preclinical CRO specializing in testing services and early-stage development strategy, announced it is rebranding as TSRLabs, introducing a new name, visual identity, logo, and completely redesigned website as the Ann Arbor-based company prepares for its next phase of growth.
The new TSRLabs identity better represents the company that TSRL has become, bringing its expanding scientific capabilities, proprietary drug delivery technologies, and collaborative approach to drug development under a modernized brand.
Founded in 1986, the company – originally known as Therapeutic Systems Research Laboratories – has grown from its roots in pharmaceutical research to support biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, and government partners across formulation development, bioanalysis, PK/ADME, toxicology, strategic consulting and drug delivery technology. The rebrand retains the TSRL name that clients and collaborators have known for decades, with “Labs” placing greater emphasis on the science and laboratory expertise at the center of its work.

Momentum for the Next Chapter
The rebrand follows a period of significant momentum for TSRLabs. Over the past five years, the company has become one the largest for-profit NIH grant awardees in Michigan and has secured nearly $20 million in non-dilutive funding. TSRLabs is also advancing its proprietary Microneedle Array Patch drug delivery technology across multiple therapeutic applications.
That growth is increasingly focused on the next generation. TSRLabs continues to provide opportunities for scientists to develop their careers, pursue new ideas and take greater ownership of scientific programs.
